This project rejuvenates and links two adjacent 1970s Brutalist structures into one freestanding, trophy-class office building in downtown Washington, D.C. The design introduces contemporary elements while paying respect to the historic 16th Street corridor.

The Office of the Chief Technology Officer (OCTO)

The Office of the Chief Technology Officer (OCTO) is the central technology organization of the District of Columbia Government. OCTO develops, implements, and maintains the District’s technology infrastructure; develops and implements major enterprise applications; establishes and oversees technology policies and standards for the District; provides technology services and support for District agencies, and develops technology solutions to improve services to businesses, residents and visitors in all areas of District government.

Data Society

Data Society is a 1-stop shop data analytics training program that provides a self-paced, succinct curriculum to give managers and analysts the skills they need to think about data and use it effectively. All courses are taught with real world data sets and generalizable questions so students can identify the challenges they face and then learn powerful machine learning techniques for solving their problems. Data Society provides a complete online learning experience including training videos, step-by-step guides, reusable templates, and plenty of data sets.
